Koala Mattress is one of the newest players to the Japanese sleep market having launched in late 2017 after huge success in Australia.
My briefing was to localize Koala’s brand tonality from Australia for the Japanese market via online owned platforms. Koala’s point of differentiation in the market is to bring fun, lightness and humor to the current serious sleep industry.
I worked to create the ideas for a few videos utilizing their offline events as shoot days in Tokyo and Osaka.
I created the initial ideas, storyboards for approval ahead of the events, I then shot the footage and edited the final videos.
